Yes, the cinematic pleasures of Rock of Ages , in theaters June 15, are many—and you can bet Miami will be watching. All in all, the production (a musical about big-hair rock’s heyday) shot for two months and pumped millions of dollars into the local economy. No word on whether the studio is planning a red-carpet premiere with the cast in the Magic City as other locally shot movies and TV series have done, but it doesn’t matter.
