Christ yn Wilkins Callie ett Brack “We do!” That was the response when sisters Callie Brackett , 27, and Christyn Wilkins , 31, were prompted to kick their nine-to-fi ve jobs to the curb and follow their wedding planning passion. Since 2011, this dynamic duo has been building the We Tie the Knots empire one happily ever after at a time, covering everything— planning, scouting out venues, dining decisions and more. With help from nine wedding planners based in Georgia, Colorado, North Carolina and Florida, the talented team has produced more than 300 weddings. Plus, they’ve received serious snaps from wedding pros like The Knot , with nods on both the 2014 and 2015 “Best of Weddings” vendor lists, adding clout to their booming biz. “When you own your own business, there’s no such thing as time off —its success and your employees are always on your mind,” says Brackett, an Auburn grad based in Suwanee. (Her sis went to Pepperdine and now calls Denver home.) Thanks to a little help from Google Hangouts, the two have mastered the art of coordinating from two time zones. “The best part of working together is defi nitely the fact that we get to talk almost every single day and see each other at least once a month,” says Wilkins. Even better, their biz also allows other planners-to-be a chance to secure their success by buying into the We Tie the Knots brand (and all of the resources that come with becoming a franchisee of the brand). When the wedding wonders aren’t planning their next soiree, you can fi nd them indulging at the shops at Avalon or Bloomie’s, or unwinding with a massage at the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta and a blowout at Drybar.
