Betsey specializes in landscape and specialty garden consulting, design and project management. Being diversely skilled, Betsey brought about Going Green Horticultural, a well-respected landscaping brand that blends environmental-consciousness into every project. She works with educators on garden projects while teaching elementary school students the importance of pollination plants and edible gardens and being good stewards of the environment. Betsey sits on the Board of the Georgia Green Industry Association representing the landscape division, is VP of the metro-Atlanta chapter and recently sat on the Green Industry Panel for Advancing Georgia’s Leaders in Agriculture and Forestry. For her, helping coordinate this year’s annual GGIA Round Up fundraiser comes with pleasure. This ambitious mom of two hints next at farm-to-table programs and growing edibles! “Be fearless in pursuit of what sets your soul on fire.” Kiera is known among her peers as a talented property broker for THB Intermediaries, an AmWINS Group company, but she is also well known in the community for what she is doing outside her full time career—leading a crusade against breast cancer. Kiera lost her mother to breast cancer as a teenager and since that time, she has made it her mission to fight the disease. Kiera serves on the Board of Directors and leads National Expansion for The Pink Agenda, an all-volunteer not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. She works tirelessly every day to help the organization grow nationally, but specifically here in Atlanta and has formed a great leadership committee here locally with a passionate group of young professionals that are committed to the fight as well. The Pink Agenda believes that fun and philanthropy are not mutually exclusive and engaging today’s generation can go a long way to finding a cure. To date, TPA has contributed over one million dollars to fund breast cancer research and care and the best is yet to come! You can join these fun events year round and make sure to catch their next gala on October 22, at American Spirit Works.
