BeetleCat barkeep Davis Pidgeon has Inman Park feeling no pain. After honing his mixology skills at The El Felix in Alpharetta, Roswell native Davis Pidgeon jumped ship for Ford Fry’s BeetleCat, a rockin’ oyster bar with a rep as The Optimist’s younger sibling. Libation enthusiasts must head downstairs at this twostory watering hole, where the cocktail bar is the centerpiece to an island-themed party complete with live DJ (spinning top ’80s tunes), wallet-friendly bites and decadent desserts. Keeping patrons refreshed are lip-smacking cocktails from Pidgeon, who’s remaking the classics with everything from housemade syrups to seasonal fruit.
