FAST TRACK After its mere two years on the town, Porsche Experience Center’s resident star eatery, Restaurant 356, is still giving Atlantans a reason to take their power lunch and weekend dinners (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) down south. With swanky environs—think charcoal-colored carpeting, midcentury-inspired cognac leather banquettes, tiled blue wall accents and, of course, the floor-to-ceiling windows offering impressive views of the 1.2-mile track—this place is perfect for a meal with a side of race cars. Now that summer has fully hit, executive chef Ensan Wong is oering a new menu featuring refreshing and sophisticated plates: avocado toast on sourdough bread, and pasta primavera served with corn crema—to name a couple. Says Wong about the starting point for the new menu: “For me, inspiration comes in a variety of ways and, quite often, in the most surprising of circumstances; however, I can always rely on music to instantly transport me from the kitchen to driving Route 101 in San Francisco... in a Porsche Boxster Spyder Cabriolet, of course!” 1 Porsche Drive, 770.290.4356, –Jessica Cherner Restaurant 356’s quinoa salad with sugar snap peas, spring onions, golden raisins, heirloom cherry tomatoes, chili lime vinaigrette, pickled radishes and shimeji mushrooms
