Following an evening of opened doors, sparkling hazel eyes, and lively conversation, Golnaz was hooked. A surprise proposal a year later on the first night of Hanukkah sealed the deal. The VenUe A family event at Ralston Hall Mansion had always left an impression on Golnaz. On the big day, the site’s familiarity felt like home. The DeTaiLs Te couple integrated Jewish elements, and Persian traditions to honor their heritages. The PaRTY In lieu of a traditional first dance, Jeff and Golnaz hit the floor with a slow salsa number. “Jeff was a trooper!” remembers Golnaz. “I’ve been dancing for years, and after a month of private lessons, he became this dazzling dancer.” —RW Pops of color made for Golnaz’s “something blue.” The couple signed a traditional Jewish ketubah. 200 guests attended the lively celebration of love, family, and the couple’s Jewish and Persian traditions.
