Bridal Bridal consulting services are in no short supply in Houston and finding the right one can be complicated. But Natalie Dawley and Danyett Baxter, of Two BeWed and The Boutique, have it all figured out before you even lift a ring- laden finger. A one-stop-shop planning studio, Two Be Wed offers everything from wedding consulting to invitations. “I sensed there was something missing in the Houston wedding market, a concept that could bring together all aspects of the event,” says Dawley. “I immediately fell in love with the idea of a bride having everything she needed for her wedding at her fingertips.” Both Dawley and Baxter feel that the bridal market often lacks convenience so they have everything centralized at the studio, holding vendor and client meetings in-house with an ample supply of portfolios on display. Clients can relax in between meetings in the posh sitting area or browse The Boutique’s gift selections for brides, bridesmaids, hostesses and more. Visitors can also sign up for a Wedding Planning 101 class or attend an Open Studio, giving clients and Two Be Wed vendors a chance to meet and greet. Two Be Wed often books brides a year and a half in advance, but also offers hourly consultations and day-of services that can be scheduled up to four to six months prior to the big day. “Every bride needs a day-of coordinator no matter how capable she is!” says Dawley. “Our day-of planning service begins two months prior to the wedding and allows the bride to be the bride on her wedding day.” With a seasonal business boom just around Vintage pillowcases (above) and Keepsake Journal from The Boutique the corner, the gals anticipate new clients and The Boutique’s expansion to the Internet, beginning Jan. 2008. 2303 Dunlavy St., 713.572.3030. www.twobewed.net, www.theboutiquehouston.com –A.B.
