Son of the South While in town for the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival, Louisville, Ky., chef Edward Lee stopped to chat. –Kelly Skinner You were born in Seoul and raised in New York. What has surprised you about the South? Speaking of, which Atlanta chefs will you see at the fest? hoTEL BuZZ How warm people are. I think it was the third day I was open, someone came in and gave me a hug... a complete stranger. That just doesn’t happen in New York, unless you’re really drunk. I’ve become an adopted son of the South. How would you describe your food? Steven Satterfield, Hugh [Acheson]... I love Anne [Quatrano]. Food is an expression of who you are. I’ve never met a chef whose food I loved, but the person, I didn’t. You just attended the James Beard Awards. What was your reaction to Hopkins and Acheson tying?
