[NOW IN CHICAGO ] VOYEUR TAKE ROOT Winfrey, but after two decades in women’s fashion, the Chicago designer is turning her talents to art. “For me they are one in the same,” says Pinto, who had always drawn inspiration from artists for her designs. Her most recent pieces revolve around the study of roots, which later evolved into a curiosity of vertebrae and bones.
