When Mark finally got her alone on a road trip, he pulled the car over and proposed to Tammy (clad in sweatpants and doughnut crumbs). The VenUe Te backyard of 12 Oaks offered the beautiful outdoor setting Tammy had dreamed of. The DeTaiLs White floral arrangements and Tiffany-blue table linens created a clean, summer palette. A bottle of Patrón Silver accompanied each table. The ParTy Guests dined on grilled quail, lobster tail, and braised oxtail catered by family friend, Chef Chu. Local desserts mingled with chic Sprinkles cupcakes on the dessert table. —MW While filming The Amazing Race , Tammy no outside communication whatsoever. (Camera crews periodically called Mark to let him know she was safe.) Once she returned, Mark made sure it was to stay. Tammy decorated her shoes with feather clips. The couple was married at Stanford Memorial Church. The beautiful backyard was dressed up with crystal and linen. Lila Paper designed classic invitations. S., met Abbey, he made the move permanent. Years later, he sealed the deal with a proposal in Hawaii.<br /> The Venue Abbey loved the Garden Pavilion of Sonoma for its antique architecture and natural beauty, which required minimal decoration.<br /> <br /> The DeTAIlS Te couple filled the venue with peach, ivory, green, and champagne tones to accompany the Mason jars and signs made from salvaged wood.The pARTY Seventy-five guests enjoyed a cocktail hour; a dinner of beautiful heirloom tomato towers, beef tenderloin, and miso salmon; and Swedish wedding traditions including a quiz game that pits the couple against one another, answering questions like “Which of you will have the faster time in the upcoming Chicago marathon in October?” –MW
