ABOUT TOWN DISNEY COMES TO AVANT GALLERY DESIGN DISTRICT Avant Gallery held an exclusive Art Basel bash to celebrate the Miami debut of the Airline_009 Chair for Walt Disney Signature. Cory Grosser, the designer of the sleek and modern chair, was on hand to toast his acclaimed work, inspired by KEM Weber’s Airline Chair which was commissioned by Walt Disney himself. Guests sipped Standard Russian cocktails and nibbled on bags of Pop Chips while perusing the pop-art works on display by various artists. The open to the public event entertained Bal Harbour residents and followers of Manolito the Gypsy. Libations by L’Chaim Vodka kept the concertgoers swaying while they sat on the lawn or in VIP cabanas and listen to the band play.
