THE COUPLE Both far from home—Katy from Texas and Nathaniel from Hawaii—the couple met at Stanford University. THE DETAILS The bride wore a classic gown from Neiman Marcus, while the groom paid homage to his roots in a relaxed suit from Stanley Korshak, plus a maile lei! The couple chose the honeybee as the motif for the invitations and décor. Fresh honey harvested from the bride’s family’s bees was given away as favors for guests. THE PARTY Traditional and tropical cuisine by Andrew Ormsby Catering was served at the chic affair, coordinated by Mathes and Co. Events, with music from the Dallas String Quartet. –Tiffany Austin-Suniga Dr. Delphinium arranged the bride’s pretty bouquet. OH SO ELEGANT! THE PARTY The intimate ceremony was followed by a lively reception, coordinated by Todd Events, where guests danced to Emerald City and Downtown Fever. Five years after meeting, Rodenberg proposed on a beautiful summer day. THE DETAILS Rupal and Ron planned a wedding that celebrated both of their cultures —Indian and Western. The bride was stunning in her embellished crimson and gold Indian gown and in her white frock by Allure Bridals from LuLu’s Bridal Boutique. THE PARTY The Rosewood Mansion was the perfect backdrop for the reception, coordinated by Jordan Payne Events. THE DETaILS Nathan is the owner of Gro Designs, which specializes in floral and event design and coordination. Separate schools and states kept them apart—that is, until they reconnected six years after their first meeting. ThE DETaiLs The bride’s veil was handmade lace on cotton tulle, a gift from a friend who purchased it in Belgium 34 years ago. ThE PaRTY Elizabeth worked for wedding planner Mary Wright Shah before heading to law school. (Naturally, they chose the chic restaurant for their reception.) They were engaged on New Year’s Eve 2010 while in LA for the Rose Bowl, where the groom cheered on TCU, his alma mater. THE DETailS In her Alvina Valenta confection from StarDust Celebrations, the bride cut a beautiful profile as she walked down the aisle. THE BiG FiNiSH Delightful cakes (almond with raspberry mousse for her, chocolate for him) sliced and final dances done, Mr. and Mrs. Tremper made quite the exit through a wave of lit sparklers. –RW
