The DeTaiLs Lauren’s father surprised her with Tiffany & Co. diamond earrings during a dress fitting at Ultimate Bride. A small “Chris-anthemum” was tucked into her wedding-day bouquet. The ParTy The Trump ballroom was a profusion of candlelight and flowers during dinner, and guests were wowed by views of a fireworks display at Navy Pier. A farewell brunch in the hotel’s Grand Salon capped off the festivities. – CG The Grand Ballroom transformed by Kehoe Designs Mr. Christopher and Mrs. Lauren Peterson. The bride wore Ulla-Maija Couture from Ultimate Bride. The Take the Cake dessert was topped with ninja salt-and-pepper shakers, a gift to Lauren from Chris early in their relationship. Kehoe Designs used a palette of ivory, pewter and tangerine. The jet-set-inspired after-party was the scene of impromptu karaoke and dance performances.
