PALM BEACH WEDDING Allison & Keith NOVEMBER 5, 2016 of decadence LAYERS The luxurious island of Palm Beach provided a picture-perfect backdrop for an evening filled with rose gold memories, as lovebirds said “I do.” THEY SAY the best things in life come when you’re least expecting them. That was exactly the case for Allison Poss, who found love at the unassuming seaside eatery JB’s on the Beach in Deerfield Beach. She struck up a conversation with Keith Hauser and the two bonded over their love of indie music, eclectic foods and cars. Four years later, Keith asked for her hand in marriage, saying, “Life is about experiencing new things, and I want to experience the rest of my life with you.” The couple were enamored with Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa’s oceanside location and breathtaking ballroom that glowed with crystal chandeliers. Their elegant affair, filled with cream, white, gold and blush shades, included a traditional Jewish ceremony. “When we were under the chuppah, it was as though no one was there but the two of us, and yet we felt everyone’s presence,” says Allison, who enlisted her friend, Nicole Rubin, to help plan the big day. Though the wedding was traditional, there was nothing conventional about the father-daughter dance, which began with the ballad “Butterfly Kisses” until suddenly the two broke it down to the upbeat “Uptown Funk,” all performed by The Headliners Band. And though the wedding whizzed by in a flurry, Allison and Keith were able to soak it all in. As Allison says, “We looked at all the faces who have changed our lives, looked at all of the loved ones who are here for us, and made sure to enjoy every minute.” The couple is headed to the Dominican Republic for a romantic honeymoon.
