What is your favorite thing about Beverly Hills? Beverly Hills is my longtime home and community. It is one of the few places that is a familiar name to people worldwide. It has some of the best city services and is one of the safest places to live. The central location of Beverly Hills within Los Angeles makes it easily accessible and convenient. Beverly Hills has evolved significantly over the years in terms of culture and entertainment, which helps to maintain the city’s status as a global destination. I love the convenience and small-town feel combined with the best amenities in the world. How do you measure success? My main goal in business is to help my clients achieve their objectives. Attention to detail and a hands-on approach enables me to provide personalized service focused on the goals of the client. What is your passion? Houses and architecture have always been my passion. Even as a kid, I would sneak into houses under construction. I was fascinated with buildings, and obsessed with the charm and character of the older homes. It’s easy for me to stay motivated in the real estate business because every day brings different challenges and new experiences. “My main goal in business is to help my clients achieve their objectives.” What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you? I ran away from home and my parents in New York after graduating college. I went as far as I could go on dry land which is how I ended up in Los Angeles. A few years later I was reminded of Mark Twain's observation about how astonished he was at age 21 to see what a smart person his father had become over the years. My relationship with both of my parents and especially the influence of my dad's business savvy subsequently became incredibly important in my life. It’s something I try to apply to my business in the process of helping clients. 9665 Wilshire Blvd Ste 400 Beverly Hills, CA 90212 310.266.9877 joydenton.com Photography by Vincent Vallejo.
